Angelus Temple Hispanic Foursquare Church has been the home church for Angelus Bible Institute since 1985, and also church plants and mission works. Walking in the promise and inheritance of the Lord through our founder Sister Aimee McPherson, Angelus Temple Hispanic has prepared, trained and sent leaders to the field impacting local, national and internationally.
Angelus Temple Hispanic Foursquare Church is also the home for Kids Spectacular Events that has provided fun, quarterly family events at no cost to the community since its inception in 2007. Through this project, Kids Spectacular Events, we have reached more than 5,500 decisions for Christ, the ministry has touched the life of more than 50,000 people in the community and we have mobilized more than 1,000 volunteers every year to evangelize and experience the church alive when ministering in the different neighborhoods.
We understand the importance of training and equipping believers to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. In 2010 Operation Kids Harvest project started a series of spiritual preparation seminars through the ARDE Academy of Angelus Temple Hispanic to train and launch more than 200 believers to go out and reach the city of Los Angeles through evangelism and harvest focused intercession.
As a result of an outpouring of His Spirit, groups of people have been raised in prophetic prayer, power evangelism in the streets, evangelism one on one and intercession. We have also seen in the people an increased desire to pray for the harvest and to reach the souls; and a deeper understanding that the battle is primarily fought in the spiritual realm to effectively reach the cities for Christ.
We believe that the Great Commission, to go and make disciples, is the mission of the Church. And humbly acknowledge that it can only be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit in us (Acts 1:8). The evangelism approach to reach our city for Christ is intended not only to reach people with the Gospel, but to make healthy and reproducible disciples.
